COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A man was fatally shot on the city’s South Side Monday night, and homicide detectives continued to work on identifying a suspect.

Columbus police was dispatched to 577 E. Kossuth St. on reports of a shooting at about 9 p.m.
Jessie Crabtree, 38, was found on the sidewalk outside of his home. He was shot, according to police.
Crabtree was transported to Grant Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at the hospital at 9:25 p.m.
