Coroner IDs Decomposing Body Found In Bin

UPDATE: Reynoldsburg police released some information on a decomposing body that was found in a vehicle more than a week ago.

REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio -- Reynoldsburg police released some information on a decomposing body that was found in a vehicle more than a week ago.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Officers were called to the area of 1200 Rosehill Rd. at about 2:50 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, on reports of a suspicious vehicle.

Officers found a decomposing body inside of a bin of sorts.

The body was released to the Franklin County coroner’s office.

The body was identified as a 36-year-old Hispanic male.

Police currently were not releasing his name while authorities notify next of kin.

Police said they believe the man might have been an illegal immigrant.

Police continued to investigate.
