ZANESVILLE, Ohio -- A grand jury indicted a teen who allegedly shot a Zanesville officer and his K-9 partner on 12 counts Wednesday.

The Muskingum County Grand Jury indicted 19-year-old Dominick Conley on 12 counts Wednesday.
He was indicted on one count of felonious assault on a peace officer with firearm specification, one count of felonious assault on a police dog with firearm specification, two counts of kidnapping with firearm specification, one count of aggravated burglary with firearm specification, six counts of abduction with firearm specification and one count of tampering with evidence.
Conley was scheduled to appear in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court next Wednesday for his arraignment.
Conley was being held in the Muskingum County Jail on a $2 million bond.

Zanesville officer Michael Schiele, 29, confronted Conley on the 500 block of Indiana Street at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday, according to Zanesville police.
Conley had outstanding warrants for previous misdemeanor charges.
Schiele attempted to take Conley into custody, and a struggle began, police said.
The K-9 officer, Bosco, chased Conley as he allegedly tried to flee the scene.
Police said the suspect fired two shots; both shots hit Bosco.
Police said the suspect also fired shots at Schiele; the officer was hit once.
Schiele suffered one gunshot wound to the left-leg area.
He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital but later was transferred Grant Medical Center. Schiele was treated and released.
Bosco was transported to Brandywine Hospital for Pets and later transported by helicopter to Ohio State University Veterinary Hospital.
Bosco is undergoing physical therapy at Ohio State University Veterinary Hospital.
Conley allegedly car-jacked a woman, broke into two relatives’ homes and held six family members at gunpoint in Canton after the incident in Zanesville.
Conley was arrested by Canton police around 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23.
