CHILLICOTHE, Ohio -- Two women were burned severely after a propane-gas explosion in a motor home Wednesday night.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
The Ross County sheriff’s office was called to the Ross County fairgrounds shortly before 8 p.m.
When a deputy arrived, he found a motor home with fire damage.
Fire crews were prepping victims Sandy McDade and Lisa Seyler for medical-helicopter transport to OSU Medical Center’s burn center.
Apparently, a propane line wasn’t capped off in the motor home. The two women from West Virginia turned on a gas stove to cook dinner. The propane reached the gas stove and ignited.
The fairgrounds were being prepared for the Easy Riders Motorcycle Rodeo -- a yearly motorcycle rodeo event.
No more immediate information was available, including the women's conditions.
