»  Comments | Post a Comment

GROVE CITY, Ohio -- The Franklin County DUI Task Force said task-force members will conduct two sobriety checkpoints Friday and overnight Saturday in the city of Grove City.

The first checkpoint was scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. and will continue operation until approximately 11:30 p.m. on Stringtown Road, west of Gantz Road.

The second checkpoint was scheduled to begin at midnight Saturday and will continue operation until 2:30 a.m. on Broadway, north of Southwest Boulevard.

The task force wanted to impress upon those who will be consuming alcohol to plan for a designated driver or make other arrangements.

Support in operating the upcoming checkpoint will be provided by members of the Franklin County DUI Task Force and the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
