COLUMBUS, Ohio – On Saturday night just before 8:30 p.m., 47-year old Kevin Wells became involved in a verbal altercation over money in the area of Jefferson and East 12th Avenues. Wells was arguing with a man only known as “Chief”. During the altercation, “Chief” reached into his pocket, pulled out a box cutter and cut Wells on the left side of the face and in the right hand. Wells then picked up a brick and threw it at “Chief” allowing him time to escape and avoid further injuries.
