COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus Police have issued a citizen crime alert after a north side shooting.

The incident occurred around 2:00 pm Friday, September 4th.
According to police, the victim was outside a home on Kenmore Avenue when approached by two people, a male and female, asking for help with their vehicle.
The victim began walking towards the house and was shot by the two individuals. There was a brief struggle between the victim and the man and woman as they robbed the victim.
Both suspects fled the scene on foot.
The victim was transported to Ohio State University Medial Center in stable condition.
One suspect is described as a male, black, medium complexion, 25-26 years of age, 5’6”-5’9” tall and weighing about 160 pounds.
The second suspect is described as a female, black, 18-19 years of age, thin build, standing 5’8” tall with short hair.
