DUBLIN, Ohio -- A weekend crime at a Dublin collection agency could mean your personal information is at risk.
Someone broke into a Dublin business office during the weekend and targeted NCO Financial Systems, a collection agency.
They unsuccessfully tried to break into a safe, successfully broke into a Pepsi and coin machine and ransacked an office.
That's all that was in the police report.
Two separate employees told NBC 4 that important records also were stolen and contained sensitive information about clients, such as Social Security numbers, and NCO was not contacting those clients.
We tried to talk to the office at 5626 Frantz Rd. Thursday morning. The local office referred us to the corporate headquarters. Corporate referred us back to the local office.
According to employees, who claim they can't be identified for fear of being fired, it is the files with personal information on them that could be the most valuable.
There was no indication of forced entry.
The value of the safe and damaged machines is estimated at $1,200.
