NEWARK, Ohio -- Authorities asked for tips to find an aggravated robbery suspect.

Licking County Crime Stoppers offered as much as a $1,000 reward on information that will help law enforcement with the investigation of an armed robbery at Circle K convenience store on the 500 block of West Main Street in Newark.
A white male armed with a dark-colored semi-automatic handgun entered the store at about 3:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, according to Newark police.
The suspect located the store’s only working employee in a walk-in cooler.
The suspect took the employee at gunpoint to the front counter and took money from the drawer, according to police.
The suspect took several loose packs of cigarettes and ordered the clerk to the floor. The suspect ran out the door to the south and possibly fled in a waiting vehicle, police said.
The suspect was described as a white male who is about 18 to 25 years old. He is 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs between 180 to 210 pounds.
He was wearing a large white hoodie, pulled up over his head; a dark-colored bandanna over his face; baggy blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
