CPD Investigates West Side Shooting

Tuesday evening shooting is now latest homicide of 2009.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A shooting victim died on Tuesday as a result of a shooting on the West Side Monday evening.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

There was an altercation of some sort in front of a Warren Avenue home shortly after 6 p.m. Monday evening, according to police.

David Willison, 28, shot 21-year-old Ronald Biegler, police said.

Willison was arrested on nearby Racine Avenue and was originally charged with felonious assault. Biegler died today at Mount Carmel West Hospital as a result of injuries sustained from the shooting.

The suspect, David Willison has now been charged with one count of murder.
