COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A crash involving a tractor-trailer restricted access to and closed a portion of Interstate 670 eastbound Wednesday.

A tractor trailer hit the center wall of I-670 eastbound and flipped on its side, spilling debris on the road and possibly causing another vehicle to crash.
The crash happened at about 4 a.m.
Authorities reinstated access to I-670 eastbound from Interstate 70 eastbound and reopened I-670 eastbound shortly after noon Wednesday.
Authorities first closed I-670 eastbound between state Route 315 and Neil Avenue right outside Downtown.
The freeway was closed further west at I-70 eastbound to keep traffic out of the crash area at about 6:30 a.m.
One lane of I-670 westbound also was closed in the crash area.
Reportedly, four people were taken to area hospitals out of the incident. There wasn't information currently on the extent of the injuries.
