HOUSTON, Texas -- Officials found and confiscated 1,045 animals from a small home in Texas this week.
Dogs, chickens, gerbils, hamsters, snakes, turtles and birds were all living in the small home in what were described as deplorable conditions.
Police transported the animals to an area animal shelter.
It’s believed the people who live at the home were breeding the animals to sell at flea markets.
An investigation is now underway.
