COLUMBUS, Ohio – It could take longer to get into the Ohio State Stadium today after a federal agent’s warning of a possible terrorist attack in sports stadiums, entertainment complexes and hotels.
Ohio State officials want to remind fans that backpacks are not allowed into the Shoe. Purses and small bags will still be allowed in the stadium, but be prepared for it to take longer to get them checked. Deputy Chief Richard Morman of the Ohio State University Police Department tells NBC 4, “We encourage fans that if they’re out there and see something and their gut instinct tells them that doesn’t look right, let somebody know about it.”
The University of Michigan announced earlier this week that it is not allowing any bags into their stadium for the game.
