Ohio Gas Prices Down From Last Week

»  Comments | Post a Comment

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio gasoline prices have fallen 10 cents in the last week as oil prices were pulled down by concerns about the U.S. economy.

The latest survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express puts the statewide average for regular-grade gas at $2.37 per gallon, down from about $2.47 last Monday. Motorists are getting a big break on the price of gas compared to a year ago, when regular was averaging $3.66.

Last week's reports on U.S. manufacturing and home sales raised questions about recovery prospects in the world's largest economy. The price of crude oil flirted with the bottom of a $65 to $75 trading range that has held for months.
