COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Three local restaurants attended hearings with the local board of health on alleged food-safety violations Tuesday.

JP’s Barbeque Ribs and Chicken is located on the city’s near East Side at 1072 E. Main St.
The alleged violations against JP’s included food that was not date marked, issues with the plumbing, the floor was in pretty bad shape and no mop sink.
JP’s has a yellow inspection sticker, which means the restaurant and board are in the enforcement process due to uncorrected critical violations found during follow-up inspections.
The restaurant said most of the violations have been taken care of.
Eastland Buffet is located on the city’s Southeast Side at 2599 S. Hamilton Rd.
The alleged violations against Eastland Buffet included keeping food held at the proper temperatures, cross contamination of raw and ready-to-eat foods and issues with plumbing.
Eastland Buffet has a yellow inspection sticker, which means the restaurant and board are in the enforcement process due to uncorrected critical violations found during follow-up inspections.
Rogers Café is located in the Downtown Leveque Tower at 50 W. Broad St.
The alleged violations against the café included person in charge did not have knowledge of food safety, keeping food held at the proper temperature, food was not date marked and food contact surfaces not being cleaned properly.
Each of the food establishments met with food inspectors during informational hearings Tuesday.
No actions were taken against the establishments Tuesday.
Columbus Public Health was scheduled to meet again Tuesday, Oct. 20.
