COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Two young men narrowly escaped an apartment fire early Tuesday morning.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
The men in their 20s woke up to a kitchen fire in their Carrolton Club Circle apartment around 4:30 a.m.
Flames blocked their exit from the home.
They were able to call 911 and climb to the second-story windows.
Firefighters were able to rescue the two young men from the second floor.
The first was brought down a ladder and the second told NBC 4 he jumped headfirst into firefighter's arms.
No one was injured in the fire and the damage is estimated at $6,000 to $8,000.
