COLUMBUS, Ohio -- ODOT has returned state Route 315 northbound to its normal traffic configuration for Tuesday’s rush-hour traffic.
All of the following information came from an official ODOT release.
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) says all three lanes of S.R. 315 northbound from Interstate 670 to Ackerman Road are open, including the ramp from Interstate 670 to Ackerman Road.
ODOT says returning S.R. 315 north back to its normal traffic configuration prior to construction is ahead of schedule.
When crews started to switch traffic on SR 315 north Friday, ODOT thought it would take a week before all lanes and ramps would be open, but work has progressed so quickly, ODOT opened all three lanes of S.R. 315 north Tuesday afternoon, including all entrance and exit ramps.
Although S.R. 315 northbound has returned to its normal traffic configuration, drivers are reminded to follow all posted speed limit signs.
Beginning at 8 p.m. Wednesday, crews will begin to return S.R. 315 southbound to its normal traffic configuration with the closure of two lanes so workers can restripe the roadway.
By 5 a.m. Thursday morning, two lanes of S.R. 315 southbound will be open.
Later in the day Thursday, ODOT expects all lanes of S.R. 315 southbound, along with all exits and entrance ramps, to be open.
