Spam and viruses have made their way from your inbox to your Twitter account.
A flock of tainted tweets is flying all over that website, spreading malicious scams and spam.
One wave of the short messages has spread so much, it has become one of the top 10 ‘trending topics’ on the site.
That leads to additional readers, and then additional spreading of malware.
Private direct messages were sent to Twitter users, as well.
