Will Ohio State fans miss watching one of the biggest Buckeye games on TV this year?
The Buckeyes host the Miami Hurricanes at the Horseshoe Saturday, Sept. 11, but Time Warner Cable is currently in contract negotiations with Disney, the parent company of ESPN, which is set to air the game.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Time Warner and Disney are in tough negotiations.
The article states many other networks have demanded excessive fees to cable operators for their programming.
NBC 4 contacted the local Time Warner spokesperson Wednesday night, who said they are still in negotiations with Disney and don't believe they are going to lose ESPN programming Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, when the contract expires.
