COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A minivan crashes into the front of a West Side daycare Monday afternoon while 40 children are napping.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS from Columbus police.
Officers were called to the 3700 block of Sullivant Avenue on reports of a vehicle into a building.
Once on the scene, officers found a white minivan crashed into the front of the Kiddy Grove Daycare Center.
The female driver told officers she was in the parking lot one minute and then she was through the front door of the daycare, according to authorities.
Forty children were inside the daycare center, taking a nap, at the time of the crash.
No one was injured in the daycare.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to Doctor’s West to be treated for her injuries.
The city inspector said the building will be open Tuesday, pending another inspection in the morning.
It remained unclear whether any charges will be filed.
The crash remained under investigation.
