CHILLICOTHE, Ohio -- A trooper seized two pounds of marijuana during a routine traffic stop in Chillicothe in late January.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a trooper from the Chillicothe post stopped a vehicle at state Route 104 and state Route 207 in Ross County Jan. 24. The stop was for failure to display a front plate.
During the stop, the trooper smelled marijuana in the vehicle and initiated a search.
Two pounds of raw marijuana were found in the vehicle, officials said.
Charges are pending for the vehicle’s three occupants.
