UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio -- Firefighters battled a blaze at a home in Upper Arlington Tuesday morning.
Upper Arlington emergency crews were called to the home on Haymarket Court shortly before 8 a.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered smoking coming from the home's attic.
Firefighters found the attic structure and insulation on fire. Approximately 35 personnel from Upper Arlington and Columbus worked for 40 minutes to extinguish the blaze by 8:41 a.m.
Two extra engines were requested by the incident commander to assist with fighting the blaze, salvage of the building's contents, and relief of personnel.
Fire officials said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Damage is estimated at $100,000.
