COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Detectives are investigating the robbery of an 82-year-old man in which is car, laptop and TV were stolen.
Police were called to the home in the 2400 block of Stafford Place at about 10:15 a.m.
According to police, an armed man approached an 82-year-old resident outside his home and forced him to go inside the house.
The suspect held a gun to the victim while making him walk through the house. In each room, the suspect grabbed items, including cash, a laptop, jewelry and a flat-screen TV.
The suspect made the man help him load the items into the victim's car before he stole the vehicle.
The car was found abandoned a few blocks away with no items inside.
Police said they have not identified a suspect.
