COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police are investigating a robbery or abduction attempt near campus last month.
According to The Ohio State University Police, the incident occurred on Jan. 21 at about 6:30 a.m. in the area of 13th Avenue and High Street.
Investigators said a female student was the victim of a robbery or abduction attempt, adding that the suspect attempted to restrain the victim, but she was able to escape.
The suspect is described as a black male, 40 to 45 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a husky build, weighing 220 to 250 pounds with a scruffy beard.
The vehicle involved in the incident is described as a newer-model dark-colored Chrysler, possibly 300 model with tinted windows.
