S.R. 104 Reopens After Gas Leak

Fire crews are on the scene of a gas leak in the 7000 block of Jackson Pike.

COLUMBUS, Ohio Fire crews are on the scene of a gas leak in the 7000 block of Jackson Pike.

Fire crews and Columbia Gas were called to 7141 Jackson Pike on a report of a gas leak.

According to authorities, sometime during overnight Friday into Saturday, it appears a vehicle slid off of the roadway striking a gas meter.

Southbound state Route104 was closed between state Route 655 and Hiner Road while crews worked to contain the leak. The roads was reopened shortly before 9 a.m.
