LOUISVILLE, Ohio - An Ohio man has been arraigned on a felony child endangering charge for allegedly tattooing the rear end of a 1-year-old girl visiting his home.
Police in the Canton area say 20-year-old Lee Deitrick of Louisville tattooed the letter "A" on the girl last November. There was no explanation why the letter "A" was used.
He was arraigned Wednesday in Canton Municipal Court and bond was set at $250,000.
Authorities say there's no evidence the mother permitted the tattooing.
The suspect's grandmother calls the tattoo "a wee-little hairline" and says there's hardly anything left of it. Louisville Police Chief Andrew Turowski says the tattoo is smaller than a dime.
A message seeking comment was left at the office of Deitrick's attorney, Erica Voorhees, after the arraignment.
