ROSS COUNTY, Ohio -- A three-vehicle injury crash closed a portion of U.S. Route 23 southbound in Ross County Monday afternoon.

A three-vehicle injury crash closed a portion of U.S. 23 at mile marker 14 in front of the Ohio State Highway Patrol CPD scales in Springfield Township. That's northeast of Chillicothe.
The closing happened at about 1:15 p.m.
The roadway was reopened to traffic before 3 p.m.
According to OSP, a 1997 international truck was being driven by 56-year-old Roger Reiman when he lost control and struck a 1999 Oldsmobile that was parked on the southbound berm after being involved in a previous non-injury crash.
The truck then struck a third vehicle, a 1997 Mercury, being driven by 31-year-old David Sharp.
The driver of the Oldsmobile, 18-year-old Elisabeth Kalb, was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
