CENTRAL OHIO -- Snow flurries and freezing drizzle will continue into tonight and tomorrow.
Black ice could be present hazardous driving conditions after the sun goes down.
My focus still is on the next event for Sunday and Monday.
The storm remains about 5,000 miles to our west.
To get heavy snow, the storm has to end up along the Ohio River, about 100 miles to our south.
It's not possible to place it in the exact position today.
However, one of the computer projections does have it there. Another has it too far south to give us heavy snow, but there would be light snow. A third has the low over Toledo, which would mean rain.
It's common for all of these models to cover all the bases, it seems, this far out, and they will come together by the end of the week.
I think the storm will track along the southern edge of the cold air and snow cover, which would put it through Kentucky.
There is a weaker low tracking near us on Saturday that will have spits of snow but that will not be the storm.
Worries are going to be for ice in the gutters causing damage, and, of course, if we ever warm up quickly, we could have flooding.
Growing up in the upper Midwest, our spring breaks were always sandbagging the river -- never to the sun of Florida. All the time.
