REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio -- Police are looking for information to help solve an armed robbery and assault that happened Tuesday night.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS from the Reynoldsburg police.
A 19-year-old male was getting into his vehicle in the 6400 block of Rugosa Avenue when he was approached by a male suspect. It was about 9:39 p.m.
The suspect asked him questions about the time, where he could get some marijuana whether he could have $1 for the bus.
The victim answered the suspect's questions, and the victim thought the suspect walked away.
That's when the suspect pointed a firearm at the victim and hit him in the face several times with the firearm.
The suspect asked the victim for his personal property. The victim complied.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, southbound between the houses.
The suspect was described as a black male who is between the ages of 18 and 22. He is slender with an athletic build.
He was a black Ecko, hooded sweatshirt, with a gray Rhino on the chest, and black pants.
