NEWARK, Ohio -- Licking County Crime Stoppers has offered up to a $1,000 reward to anyone who has information that will help law enforcement with the investigation of two Newark crimes involving stolen firearms.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS from Newark police.

According to the Newark police department, between Monday, Jan. 11, through Friday, Jan. 16, someone entered a home on West Shields Street and stole several items, including a 12-gauge shotgun, a .22-caliber rifle, a .22-caliber handgun and a pearl necklace.

Someone entered a home in the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue Friday, Jan. 22, and stole a highpoint C-9 9mm handgun.

Anyone with information was asked to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
