LANCASTER, Ohio--A 21-year-old New Plymouth man told Lancaster police Saturday night that the stab wounds to his chest were inflicted by a robber in the parking lot of a local business. The stabbing victim was taken to Grant for treatment. But other witnesses told police they saw the victim and another man and a woman running in the parking lot of a Lancaster motel. Another woman said she had tried to bandage the stab wounds when the victim knocked on her door at the same motel. Police say that while they are sure the victim was stabbed, the other aspects of what happened are not clear. They continue to investigate.
