COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A man was hospitalized after he and his family escaped a burning Northeast Side home late Sunday.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Columbus fire was called to the 2200 block of Lehner Road after 10 p.m.
Firefighters told NBC 4 the man broke out a basement window to escape.
Fire crews quickly contained the fire with little damage to the home.
The man was transported to OSU Medical Center for smoke inhalation.
His condition wasn't available.
Fire crews said the fire likely was accidental but were waiting on an official cause.
The American Red Cross was called to the scene to help the displaced family.
