TOLEDO, Ohio -- An Ohio judge says a bar can reopen this week, nearly three months after a shootout that sent patrons running for cover.
City officials in Toledo had wanted the bar closed, saying it was a nuisance and a danger.
Municipal Court Judge C. Allen McConnell said on Monday that the bar can reopen Thursday as long as it puts in place a security plan that includes metal detectors at the door.
Police say at least five people fired shots during a gun battle inside the bar in early October. Video of the shootout generated dozens of tips and helped lead to charges against two people.
Footage from the three-minute surveillance video shows gunmen firing shots from inside and outside of the bar while customers dash out the doors.
No one was injured.
