CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – The family of a 3-year-old girl who was killed in a house fire Sunday released information on the child's funeral services.
NBC 4 reported with information from an obituary printed in the Chillicothe Gazette.
Isabelle Jade Brock was killed in an overnight house fire in Chillicothe Sunday.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, in the Haller Funeral Home, 1661 Western Ave., Chillicothe. Rev. Fred Fox will be officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Haller Funeral Home.
Fire crews were called to 655 Allen Ave. on reports of a house fire just before 12:30 a.m.
Arriving firefighters were told a small child remained in the home.
Firefighters attempted to rescue Isabelle and found her inside the home. She died from complications sustained in the house fire.
Ross County Coroner Dr. John Gabis said preliminary results showed the girl died of smoke inhalation.
Three Chillicothe firefighters also were injured in the house fire. The injuries reportedly were minor.
The Division of State Fire Marshal continued to investigate but couldn't offer updated information Monday because of the observed holiday.
