COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Three law-enforcement officers pulled victims from a burning vehicle Friday after a two-vehicle, head-on crash.
NBC 4's Shawn Holmes reported with the FAST FACTS from Columbus police and the Franklin County sheriff's office.
The crash happened at about 8:15 a.m. near the intersection of Sunbury and Innis roads on the city's North Side.
A SUV was traveling northbound on Sunbury Road, just north of Innis Road.
Authorities said the Geo Tracker ran left of center and struck a Chevy Cobalt that was traveling southbound on Sunbury Road.
The Chevy Cobalt caught fire after the crash.
NBC 4 couldn't confirm immediately the number of crash victims in both vehicles.
Three people were transported to area hospitals with minor injuries, but conditions were not available.
Authorities closed the intersection to conduct an investigation. It was reopened to traffic at about 9:10 a.m.
There wasn't any immediate information on which law-enforcement agency would handle the investigation or on possible charges.
