NEWARK, Ohio -- A man is arrested after, officials said, he admitted to placing a hidden camera inside his ex-wife's bedroom closet.
According to the Licking County Sheriff's office, deputies were called to a home on Valley Blvd. West in Newark on Jan. 14.
The woman living in the home told deputies she found a video recording device hidden in her bedroom closet. After viewing the contents of the camera, the victim determined that the recordings took place between Jan. 10 and Jan. 14.
The victim told authorities that she believed her ex-husband, Larry Kendall, placed the video camera in her closet.
She added that he had access to parts of her residence, but did not have permission to place the camera in her bedroom.
According to the sheriff's office, on Jan. 19, Kendall admitted to placing the camera in the closet and implied that there were other videos taken.
A search warrant was executed at Kendall's home, where a large amount of digital media was seized.
He was arrested and transported to the Licking County Jail. Kendall, 36, will be charged with burglary and voyeurism.
