Police continue to search for the person who shot and killed an elderly woman in a church parking lot Saturday morning.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Police continued to search for the person who shot and killed an elderly woman in a church parking lot Saturday morning.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Angeline Fimognari, 80, was found in her vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.

She was fatally shot shortly after leaving St. Dominic’s Church, 77 E. Lucius Ave., on the city’s South Side around 8:45 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the fatal shooting remained under investigation but the motive appeared to be robbery.

Authorities continued to look at the church's surveillance video for information to help them find the suspect.
