WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio – The Red Cross was called to assist a displaced Washington Court House family after a house fire Tuesday night.

According to the Washington Fire Department, the fire started around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at a single-family home in the 4000 block of state Route 22.
Witnesses told NBC 4 a family of four, including two young children, was home at the time of the fire.
The fire department reported no injuries from the incident.
S.R. 22, east of Washington Court House, was closed to traffic for a period of time while emergency personnel worked to extinguish the fire.
