UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio -- A Columbus man was arrested Wednesday in connection with burglaries at two Upper Arlington homes.
Upper Arlington police arrested 20-year-old Bobby Allen Szegal Jr., of West Park Avenue in Columbus, and charged with two felony counts of burglary.
Detectives conducting surveillance in the neighborhood identified the suspect after finding a home in the 2700 block of Cranford Road had been entered and property removed -- allegedly by the suspect.
Authorities have been investigating a series of burglaries occurring in the western half of Upper Arlington near the Fishinger Road corridor.
In each of the incidents, the suspects force entry through a rear entrance of a home and removed flat-screen TVs, small portable electronics, money and jewelry.
Each of the reported incidents occurred during the day while the homeowner was away.
