Suspect Arrested After Attempted Burglary, Assault

A 41-year old man was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and assault on Saturday night.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A 41-year old man was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and assault on Saturday night.

Authorities say 41-year old James Tackett is accused of getting into a verbal argument with a woman on Eureka Avenue late Saturday night. After the argument Tackett attempted to break into her house, striking the victim and knocking out two of her teeth.

Tackett was taken into custody a short-time later at his own residence on Sullivant Avenue.
