A Dallas police officer was arrested and could lose her job after, police said, she was drunk when she fired her gun inside a police cruiser.
The incident was all caught on tape.
According to police, the officer was off-duty when she was at a Dallas-area bar and was allegedly too drunk to drive home. Two officers working that night came to pick her up and take her home, but according to police, she was so drunk she thought they were arresting her.
Police said she began arguing with the officers in the cruiser, pulled out her police-issued handgun and fired a single shot into the floorboard.
While no one was hurt, the police chief released the video so no one could accuse the department of trying to cover up what he called a very embarrassing situation for the department.
