COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus police ask for your help to identify a male who is a suspect in a Southwest Side convenience-store robbery.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS from Columbus police.
An unidentified male entered the Certified gas station, 4580 Alkire Rd., at about 2:16 a.m. Monday, March 1.
Police said he demanded cash from the store register. A weapon was not displayed, but the suspect implied he had one.
Police said the same suspect might have been responsible for a Nov. 2009 robbery at the same station.
The suspect was described as a black male who is 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a black jacket and a black knit hat.
Anyone with information was asked to call CPD's robbery squad at 614-645-4665 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS (8477).
