COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Finance company employees say a man who looks like the serial bank-robbery suspect local authorities call the “Suburban Bank Robber” came into their business minutes before a nearby bank robbery.

Employees at a Columbus finance company said a serial bank-robbery suspect who local authorities call the “Suburban Bank Robber” entered their business about 10 minutes before he allegedly robbed the Whitehall Credit Union at 5025 E. Main St.
The man entered Columbus Finance, Inc., at 3050 E. Main St., apparently thinking it was a bank, according to the FBI.
An employee said she had a "bad feeling" about the man when he walked in. She said she quickly pointed out it was a finance company when he asked what kind of business it was.
The man exited the business and walked westbound on East Main Street.
Employees later saw the surveillance photos from the Whitehall Credit Union robbery on TV and said they immediately recognized him as the same man who walked into the finance company earlier in the day.
Surveillance cameras at Columbus Finance caught some images of the man, and local authorities said that man could also be the serial bank-robbery suspect.
Anyone who has any information on the man in the photo's identity or whereabouts was encouraged to call Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS, CPD's robbery squad at 614-645-4665 or the FBI at 614-865-2543.
There is a reward of as much as $2,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the "Suburban Bank Robber."
