Kroger Employee Charged In $100K Lottery Theft

CINCINNATI -- An employee at a Kroger grocery store in Ohio has been charged with stealing more than $100,000 worth of lottery tickets.

Court records show 52-year-old Deborah Strong of Cincinnati was arrested Thursday on a felony theft charge and later released pending a court appearance. Police say she was arrested at the store where she worked after Kroger reported the loss.

A message was left for Strong seeking comment.
