MARYSVILLE, Ohio --Authorities say a small plane traveling from Indianapolis to Pennsylvania crashed in Ohio Friday, killing two people.
Jerome Township Fire Chief Scott Skeldon says a search began Friday after the plane failed to make a scheduled refueling stop at the Union County Airport.
The single-engine aircraft was found in a wooded area about 8:30 p.m.
Pronounced dead at the scene were the pilot of the plane, Arthur Potter, 67, of Greenwood, Indiana, and the lone passenger, Frank Granato, 55 of Carmel, Indiana.
The two were on a business trip in the red, 2007 Evektor-Aerotechnik Sportstar Plus airplane, owned by an Indiana flying club.
