COLUMBUS, Ohio-- The wheels are in motion for Columbus police detectives after a medic unit pronounced a shooting victim dead at 6:21am Sunday.
The investigation is just getting underway---all that is known is that a male is dead and three persons were observed running away from the location where the shooting occurred in the 2700 block of Tennyson Boulevard at Walnut Glen Apartments. No one is yet in custody.
Police Detective Sergeant Dana Norman told NBC 4 that police received the call of a shooting at 6:12 am. Officers arrived to find a Hispanic male lying in the road with several gunshot wounds to the upper boday. He was identified as Jose Luis Sion, 34.
