CAMP CREEK, W.Va. - A trucker is dead after his tractor-trailer rolled over him at a rest area on the West Virginia Turnpike.
The accident occurred Monday evening about a mile south of the Camp Creek exit in Mercer County.
State Police Cpl. Chris Payne says the man apparently was adjusting the tractor-trailer's brakes. The victim was underneath the rig's axles when it rolled forward and pinned him.
Payne says the man was killed at the scene. His name is being withheld pending notification of relatives.
