Some TV manufacturers will issue in a new era for home boxes.
Samsung and Panasonic both plan to start selling 3-D-capable TV sets in the U.S. this week.
Samsung plans to see two sets, at about $3,000 for a 46-inch set.
Panasonic says its new TV will go on sale Wednesday.
3-D has taken off among consumers with huge box office receipts.
Another company, Sony, plans to release a set for sale in June.
