2 Pedestrians Struck Along I-270

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- All lanes of Interstate 270 south are reopened after a vehicle hit two pedestrians.

The crash occurred on I-270 south just north of the Fishinger Road exit at about 4 p.m.

I-270 south was closed at Tuttle Crossing Blvd. and southbound traffic from Tuttle Crossing Blvd. onto I-270 south was restricted as well. Two lanes of traffic reopened shortly after 4:30 p.m. and all lanes were reopened by 5:15 p.m.

Officials said two pedestrians were near a disabled vehicle when they were struck by an oncoming vehicle.

One victim was transported to Doctor's Hospital West and the other victim was taken to Grant Medical Center. Their conditions and details on injuries were not immediately available.
