COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A suspect with outstanding homicide and kidnapping warrants surrenders to police after a barricade situation on the city's North Side late Thursday morning.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS from local authorities.
Columbus police called for SWAT assistance on a barricade situation on Deewood Drive, off Cleveland Avenue, shortly after 11 a.m.
Police identified the suspect as 41-year-old Larry D. Cathcart. The suspect has six felony warrants out for his arrest, including murder and kidnapping warrants, according to CPD Sgt. Rich Weiner.

Cathcart surrendered to authorities without incident before noon.
Bexley police said detectives don't believe the home-invasion victims knew Cathcart but the victims may know the second suspect.
Bexley police said Cathcart allegedly was the suspect who was armed during the home invasion.
Authorities still are searching for the other suspect but don't have any leads on his identity.
Cathcart spent 18 years in prison on a voluntary manslaughter charge, according to OPENOnline. He was incarcerated in 1989, when he was 21, and released March 1, 2007.
CPD closed Deewood Drive to traffic during the incident. Cleveland Avenue remained open.
